大正浪漫夢通り

全長200mの、雰囲気の良い石畳の通り。 通りには、日本人が、「ハイカラでモダンな時代」という良いイメージを持っている大正時代(1912〜1926)に建てられたレトロモダンなビルや建物が約30軒現存している。 おしゃれな感じのショップや土産物店、カフェがいくつかあるので、散策するのは楽しい。

1820年に建てられた格式の高いお茶屋で、建設当時の姿のままに残っている貴重な存在であるため、日本の重要文化財に指定されている。 お茶屋特有の繊細で優美な造りとなっており、旦那衆が遊びを楽しんだ座敷、四季折々の表情を見せる坪庭などが公開されている。 1階奥の茶室「寒村庵」では、庭を見ながら抹茶(※季節の生菓子付き700円、干菓子付き500円)を楽しむことが出来る。 ※200円の違いなので、生菓子を頼んだほうが良い。 撮影はスマートフォンでのみ可能。
