Mt. Misen main hall

川越一番街
川越一番街は、約400mの風情がある通りで、川越で最も賑わうエリアだ。 江戸時代(1603〜1868年)後期から明治時代(1868〜1912年)にかけて建てられた30棟余りの蔵造りの建物が立ち並んでいる。 ※通りが歩行者専用となっておらず双方向に車が通るのでちょっと落ち着かないのが難点。 かつて東京に多数あった蔵造りの建物は、関東大震災 (1923年)や第二次世界大戦時のアメリカ軍による空襲によって失われてしまったため、川越の蔵造りの町並みはより一層重要な歴史的遺産となっている。
Izumi Tenku no Yu at Haneda
羽田エアポートガーデンの12階にある温浴施設「泉天空の湯」では、地下約1500mから汲み上げた本物の温泉や、サウナ、岩盤浴などを楽しむことが出来る。 そして屋外の浴場からは行き交う飛行機や富士山などを眺めることができる点は素晴らしい。 ただ、料金が東京にある同じような温浴施設の2倍もかかり、さらに油断していると、深夜1時〜5時までは追加で4,000円もかかってしまうので要注意だ。

下級武士である足軽の生活ぶりを伝える文化施設だ。 1997年、金沢市内にあった清水家と高西家の足軽屋敷合計2棟を現在の場所に移築して開設された。 入り口から見て、手前の右側にあるのが清水家で、奥の左側にあるのが高西家。 ※何と! 高西家の屋敷は1994年まで、清水家の屋敷は1990年まで、住居として何百年もの間使用されていた! 木造平屋建てで、板葺き屋根に石を乗せた典型的な足軽の家の内部には、足軽の職務についてや日常生活についての展示品や解説文章がある。 こちらも入場料金は無料、金沢市は太っ腹だ!
