Copying the shape and size of the statue of liberty in Paris, France, the replica in Odaiba is made out of bronze. It sits facing the waterfront at Aqua City Odaiba.
The 11 meter tall, 9 ton statue is about one third the size of the Statue of Liberty in New York.
For whatever reason (visa trouble, money, time) people who couldn’t see the statue in New York happily take commemorative photos with the statue in Odaiba.
It’s actually a pretty nice place to take a photo with rainbow bridge, the bay, and skyscrapers in the background.
