Narita Airport is the No. 1 international airport in Japan and one of the largest in Asia, serving about 44 million passengers per year before Corona and about 130 destinations around the world.
Most international flights to and from the Tokyo metropolitan area arrive and depart at Narita Airport.
In fact, despite its official name, Narita Airport is not located in Tokyo, but in Chiba Prefecture to the east.
I am sorry to say this, but it is a long trip from Narita Airport to Tokyo, at least more than one hour at the most.
Curse the Japanese government for building an airport in such an inconvenient place.
<Terminal 3>
Narita Airport has three terminals.
Each terminal is far from the other and it takes time to get from one to the other, so please be careful not to mistake the terminal for your flight when departing from Narita Airport.
Terminals 1 and 2 are normal terminals, so I will not explain them here.
Terminal 3 is the newest one, but it is a terminal exclusively for Low Cost Carriers (budget airlines), so the facilities are rather crude.
It is more than 500 meters from Airport Terminal 2 Station, the closest station to Terminal 2, which is located in the basement of the terminal, and is a bit far away (about an 8 min. walk).
Follow the signs on the floor to get there, though.
If you don’t want to walk, take the free shuttle bus.
Depending on the time of day, there is a bus every 3, 5, or 7 minutes.
From Terminal 2 to Terminal 3, use the No. 4 bus stop on the 1st floor.
From Terminal 3 to Terminal 2, use the terminal connection bus stop on the 1st floor.
It takes about 3 minutes. For more information, please refer to the following website.
