日下部民藝館

かつて高山で有数の豪商だった日下部家が1879年に建てた豪邸で、高山の町屋建築の“集大成的な存在”。 長さ約13m の梁などを使って組み上げた吹き抜けなど、力強く豪壮な構造が特徴的だ。 奥の土蔵が展示室になっており、5,000点ある美術品や民芸品などの収集品が順次公開されている。 その他、江戸時代(1603〜1868年)・後期と明治時代(1868年〜1912年)の生活用具なども展示されている。 1階中央部にある休憩所では、お茶と煎餅をいただける(※無料)。 吉島家住宅の南隣にある。

まさごそば

1938年創業の、“高山ラーメン発祥の店”で、現在の店主で三代目。 メニューは、中華そばのみ。 鶏ガラ、数種類の魚介の節、野菜から取った出汁に濃口醤油を加え、寸胴鍋で8時間煮込んだコクのあるスープが、自家製の細ちぢれ麺によい感じで絡む。 トッピングは、叉焼、めんま、大きめでシャキシャキとした食感の葱のみ。 特に葱には拘りがあり、自家栽培の飛騨葱を使っている。(※冬季のみ)

宮川朝市

高山市街地を流れる宮川沿いの、鍛冶橋から弥生橋の間約350mにわたって30~40軒ほどの露店が毎朝営業している。 食べ歩きができる食べ物やスイーツなどを売っているのが良い。
