Founded in 1754, this long-established local department store opened its Tenjin branch in 1936. It houses a number of high-brand and latest fashion shops, but also offers a wide variety of local products and souvenirs. The basement food section is also popular for its high quality.

The fashion building portion of this shopping complex has Marui – a Japanese large scale department store – as the key tenant.

DESERT SNOW Shimokitazawa

This secondhand clothing store mainly sells men’s clothing, including a wide variety of Ralph Lauren items. Prices are inexpensive. There are a total of six other stores in the same family in Shimokitazawa alone.

Hanshin Umeda Main Store

An everyday department store targeted at ordinary people. It is famous for its lively and loud fresh fish section which feels like a real fish market. The squid dumplings, sold for 152 yen each, are so popular that people will queue day after day. If you have the time, it’s worth trying them.

Configured in the two buildings, Odawarabashi building and Kaikobashi building, are over 60 vendors selling fresh seafood and produce (vegetables and fruits).
