Former Chinese Consulate (Ijinkan on the top of the hill)

The Former Chinese Consulate is the only eastern-style building of the Ijinkan homes. The inside is furnished with various art pieces dating back between the Ming and Qing dynasties of China.

Kitano Ijinkan

Ijinkan is a residence where foreigners once lived in Kitano, a residential area on the mountain side of Sannomiya. Take lots of pictures and post them on social media such as Instagram and Facebook. If you plan to visit multiple Ijinkans, it is a good idea to use a discount ticket.

Moegi no Yakata

Moegi no Yakata was built in 1903. It was originally the residence of the American Consul General. The light green exterior is a beautiful and unique feature of the home. Kobe Port Tower

This crimson tower, looming at a height of 108 meters, is another landmark of Kobe. From the top of the observatory, you can see everything from the Rokko mountains to the ocean. At dusk, 7000 LED lights illuminate the tower. Every season, the light patterns also change.

シップ神戸海岸ビル

1918年竣工のビルで、1995年の阪神大震災で一度全壊したが、1998年に再建された。 その際、5Fから上は現代的なオフィスビルとして建設され、4Fまでのレトロビルと融合している姿が面白い。
