小川菊

1807年創業の老舗の鰻料理店。 7代に渡って受け継がれた秘伝の甘辛いタレが塗られ、最高級の炭である紀州備長炭を使って焼き上げられた鰻は非常に美味しい。 皮が香ばしく、身は口に入れるとホロリとくずれるほどふっくらとしており、上品な味わいだ。   一番人気の鰻重には、ふんだんに鰻の蒲焼きが盛り付けられ、ボリュームがある。 その他、う巻などの一品料理も充実しており、鰻のコース料理もある。   店は約100年前に建てられた木造の大きな一軒家で非常に趣があり、店内も和の雰囲気に満ちていて、良い感じだ。 ランチタイムには行列が出来ることが多いので、時間をずらすか、予約を取っておいた方が良い。(※予約ができる時間帯は11時からのみ)

三芳庵

1875年の創業以来、日本の皇室など数多くのセレブに愛されてきた老舗の料亭。 園内・西側の瓢池のほとりにある趣深い日本家屋の店内では、美しい庭園を見たり、滝の水音を聴いたりしながら、金沢らしい料理を盛り合わせた弁当1,650円~や、抹茶(和菓子つき)750円などをリーズナブルな価格で楽しむことが出来る。

茶屋 見城亭

園内の一番北側、桂坂口を入ってすぐのところにある茶店。 1階は甘味処と土産物屋、　2階は和食レストランとなっている。 世界的建築家の隈 研吾によってデザインされた建物/内装は見ものだ。 毎週日曜(※3〜11月のみ)の朝8時から10時30分まで特別朝食メニューを提供している。 2,300円と朝食にしては高いが、豪華で美味しいので、価格に見合う価値はある。
