菓子屋横丁
菓子屋横丁」は、全長約80mの風情ある石畳の路地で、レトロな感じの菓子屋や和風スイーツ店が約20軒並び、菓子の甘い香りとノスタルジックな雰囲気が漂っている。 煎餅・カルメ焼・飴玉などの昔ながらの駄菓子や、さつまいものソフトクリームや饅頭などのスイーツを買って食べ歩くことが出来る。 菓子屋横丁の真ん中あたりにある「松陸製菓」では、約1mと驚くほど長い麸菓子を売っている。 SNS映えするし、価格も600円と高くなく、味も甘くて美味しいというのは良いのだが、持ち歩くのが面倒なので、写真を撮ったら友人と分けてすぐ食べた方が良い。

Tsukiji Uogashi
Configured in the two buildings, Odawarabashi building and Kaikobashi building, are over 60 vendors selling fresh seafood and produce (vegetables and fruits). On the 3rd floor of Odawarabashi building is a food court style plaza open from morning to evening. Built in November 2016 the building is still new.
River Walk Kitakyushu
A large-scale commercial complex adjacent to Kokura Castle. In addition to apparel and general merchandise stores and restaurants, there is also a movie theater, theater, and art museum.
Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda Store
Yodobashi is a large domestic electronics store chain, and this store has the highest turnover in Japan (approx. 120 billion yen) and the largest floor space (approx. 30,000 m2). There is a great selection of items and multilingual staff, and also around 30 affordably-priced restaurants and cafes on the 8th floor.

SOLARIA PLAZA
A lifestyle commercial facility operated by Nishitetsu (West Japan Railways). It offers a wide variety of fashion and cuisine, and also has a hotel and a movie theater on the upper floor.
Super Kids Land Main Store
A shop specializing in anime/manga characters – mainly figurines and plastic models. The first floor contains figurines, while the second floor contains Gundam products. The large Gundam at the entrance serves as a landmark.
