About Iwakuni
Iwakuni is an elegant and beautiful castle town, and known as one of the best castle towns in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
It is famous for having one of the most excellent bridges in Japan, Kintaikyo.
The five sequential arch of the Kintaikyo has a unique shape that is both interesting and beautiful, and having a look is worth your time.
Moreover, the area has multiple historical spots, and is rich in greenery.
Recommendation
Iwakuni is located in the most eastern part of Yamaguchi prefecture, and it is not too far from Miyajima that visiting Miyajima is recommended for those who have time.
