Located on the first floor of Hakata Deitos, in front of the central ticket gate of the Shinkansen bullet train, is a souvenir sales zone.
Next to “Ming” it has a full lineup of 26 stores selling souvenirs and sweets from Kyushu.
One of the unique shops is “Fukuya,” a long-established maker of mentaiko (spicy cod roe), a specialty of Fukuoka.
Here, visitors can sample more than a dozen kinds of mentaiko (spicy cod roe) with hot rice.
